Zi Zhongyun

Zi Zhongyun is a Senior Fellow at the Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and former director of the Institute. A graduate of Qinghua University, she is one of China¡¯s outstanding scholars of international relations, American studies, and U.S.-China relations. Zi Zhongyun founded and served as the first President of the Society for Chinese Scholars of Sino-American Relations (1993-1998). Prior to this, she served as Deputy Director and Director of the Institute of American Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) from 1985-1992. She has held academic positions at top U.S. and Chinese institutions including Princeton University and Beijing University.
