Yang Jiemian

Profile£ŗ

Yang Jiemian is Vice President and Senior Fellow of the Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS). Prior to becoming SIIS's senior fellow, he was Senior Fellow, Director of Department of American Studies, and Vice President at the Institute of Peace and Development. Mr. Yang has published many papers as well as books on international relations and U.S. foreign policy, including: International Terrorism and Contemporary International Relations: Impacts and Influence of the "9/11" Attacks (co-author, The Guizhou People's Press, 2002), "China-U.S. Relations Subjected to Tests: G.W. Bush's China Policy," in American Studies Quarterly, Summer 2001, and "A Partnership Worth Preserving," New York Times, March 21, 2001. Mr. Yang holds a BA from Shanghai Teachers' University, and MAs from SIIS and Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University.
