Qian Wenrong

Profile£ŗ

Qian Wenrong, is the Executive Deputy Director of the Center for World Affairs Studies at Xinhua in Beijing. He joined Xinhua in 1964, serving as editor of the Agency's International News Department. He has worked in Tanzania and Egypt, and has served as the Director of Xinhua at the U.N. until 1992. Currently, he is also Council member of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, Council member of the UN Association of the PRC, Member of CSCAP-China Committee, and Professor of the Foreign Affairs College in Beijing.
