Niu Jun is a Professor in the School of International Relation, Peking University. His academic appointments are as following: February-June, 1998: G; Guest Senior Fellow in Nobel Institute, Norway; July-October, 1997: Visiting Scholar, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars; Nov.1996-Jan.1997:Visiting Scholar, Department of History and the Center of Asia Studies, Hong Kong University; March 1993 Visiting Scholar, Institute of East Asian Studies, University of California, Berkeley.1992-1993: Visiting scholar, Visiting Scholar, Department of History, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His mian research fileds inclue PRC foreign relation, Sino-U.S. relations and American foreign policy.
